The fourth piece band “14tägig anders” do German Indierock in the broadest sense, even though the songs sometimes invite to luff the hip and click one’s finger. But often enough there is rock until the tubes glow.
The eight hand sorted tracks of their new middle-longp-layer “Vom Kopf zur Hand” come along much more profound, a little rougher an more complex. Facing the difficulties of the German langue, 14tägig anders manage the quarrel whith common topics. An always sound criticism on socially grieviances is the reccurent theme throughout the tracks of “Vom Kopf zur Hand”. The four musicians don’t leave it at manifold heard phrases, but are captivating with a well thought out diction. Sorrounded by harmony-addicted guitars and an impellent bass, it becomes a compactly whole, that is now sliding on the waves blithely – indierock elbupwards.
